Bengaluru man arrested for setting partner and her parents on fire over scooter dispute
A 32-year-old man in Nandini Layout was arrested after allegedly pouring petrol on his 27-year-old partner and her parents and setting them on fire following a dispute over her scooter. The woman had refused to hand over the two-wheeler, leading to a heated argument. All three victims sustained injuries and were hospitalized. Police registered a case under sections 109 (attempt to murder) and 351(2) (criminal intimidation) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita.
